About me

Hi.

My name is Coen Meerbeek and my job description currently is Product Owner Platform Services at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. In this role I am responsible for the CICD, API, Kafka and AMQ platform within the airport split across 2 teams with 11 people total.

I am working in the monitoring business since 2006 and have freelanced for most of my time since March 2011. Since February 2022 I transitioned into the PO role I have now but I still like to dive into Splunk challenges and hulp companies succeed with this platform.

There are 2 key characteristics that every business assignment I start needs to have:

1. A technical challenge - I need to solve riddles
2. A team which needs someone to make it a high performing team - building teams is even more important to me then the technical challenge

This blog will focus on building teams and implementing monitoring solutions. Sometimes I write technical topics and sometimes more on architecture or management level.
